A most famous quote is “To awaken the people, it is the women who must be awakened” Empowering women may easily help to grow each and every member of the family without any extra effort. A woman is considered to be valued for everything in the family and she will always have a better edge to resolve the problems from her end. Empowerment of the women would automatically bring up empowerement of everyone in the family, ultimately, the society.

SKCT has started “Mahila Swayam Upadhi Padhakam” to impart knowledge and provide training to the deserving women candidates on Tailoring works to make them self-sufficient in their life and can stand on their own financially.

Under this project, SKCT conducts Certificate Course on Tailoring in 4 batches of 30 women each, providing training in 5 different locations for 8 months and covering rural and semi urban areas.

SKCT is providing 12 Sewing Machines per batch for the most deserving candidates under this program.
